Blog Post #15 - New Camera

I recently made the decision to invest in a camera for my project, although it is definitely more budget friendly. I did some research on cameras, watching reviews and tutorials to determine the best option for my needs. I was looking for something that would allow me to capture high-quality footage, even in low light conditions, which is essential for a horror film. I also wanted something that was user-friendly and easy to use, since I am not a professional photographer or videographer.

Finally, I settled on a camera that met all my criteria, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. As soon as I got it in my hands, I felt a rush of excitement and anticipation. I couldn’t wait to start filming and bringing my vision to life. I got to test it recently as I was walking through the street at night, and the camera's image stabilizer kept the footage steady, even as I was walking on uneven ground. The low light capabilities were also a lifesaver, since I could really capture the eerie feeling of the empty street at night.
